Satchmi Vinyl Day 2017

I went to this another gig last weekend at Green Sun Hotel. Satchmi Vinyl Day offered a lot of good stuff from discounted records, art stuff from various visual artists to great live music from some of the best bands in Manila.

Oh, Flamingo!
I was ready to feel that "Ang Nawawala" feels, but Outerhope didn't play "No End In Sight".
This was the first moment I actually listened and watched Ben & Ben. I saw them first at Red Ninja Year 8 Fest but I wasn't focused on them as I was busy taking photos for the event. They're just 10x better live!
It was during Jess Conelly's set I realized that most people in front weren't the usual "gig people" I encounter on every event/gig I went to. Camera phones and flashes invaded the place and I felt a bit of discomfort that's why I decided to just watch the rest of the artists from the back. It almost felt like I was in some mall show of some sorts. It was a claustrophobic experience. Nevertheless, Jess Conelly's set was superb.
Cheats was the Mystery Monsters or the surprise artist of the event.
Apartel + Free Admission. Who would miss it, right??? It always feels like watching them for the first time every time.
