"I'm up in the woods, I'm down on my mind. I'm building a sill to slow down the time."
Summer's almost over
and here I am, now sober.
All I want is to get over
from the fact we are over.
The songs we used to sing,
your voice is still lingering
Lying in bed, wondering
can we go back to the beginning?
I know it's pathetic
to be overly dramatic
over someone who used to be stoic,
now nothing but static.
Hush now, and try to sleep.
Maybe a little escape could the trick.
Sink in the unconscious thoughts so deep,
just one more hit then flick.
A "poem" written in a span of 5 minutes after re-reading my She & Him Series. God, I miss writing worthless, melancholic shenanigans.
